Pitt was signing autographs alongside wife Angelina Jolie when Vitalii Sediuk, also known as thetotal a–hat serial celebrity harasser who was last seen trying to crawl under America Ferrera’s skirt in Cannes, allegedly leaped onto the red carpet and assaulted the actor.

The above photo from KTLA’s twitter feed showed Sediuk being escorted directly to jail by the LAPD, where he is being held on $20,000 bail. Jolie, meanwhile, may or may not have spent the rest of the evening plotting an elaborate revenge scenario involving a sleeping curse and a spinning wheel.

Pitt shook off the attack in a matter of seconds and resumed being perfect and awesome, because of course he did. Let’s not forget that the man is Tyler Durden, after all.
